I couldn't wait to make my own plaid paper, using the new Papertrey set, BG Basics:Super Stripes. I'm a sucker for plaids and now I can make them in any color I want--consider me HAPPY! I used today's colors, cherry cobbler and old olive, stamped on PTI's vintage cream. I diecut the largest oval, then the word and placed the plaid panel on the cherry cobbler card base, to figure where to cut the smaller oval for the window. I attached a piece of clear cardstock between the panels and then placed the diecut word on the clear piece, so that it lined up with the plaid pattern. I attached another cream panel on the inside of the card and stamped the rest of the sentiment. I used the diecut oval to make a matching tag. PTI's Make it Monday challenge this week is to make the floating image window card.
