I made a retirement card for a neighbor who is having a party on Sunday. I used Cindy's idea of a shaped card. Here is Cindy's card. Man's best friend by YLM at Splitcoaststampers Wendy gave us a challenge to use colors! Out with the copics. I stamped the image and colored with copics. I doodled around the image. After assembling the card I cut around the hexagon. It was easy with the checked paper. I just had to follow the lines. I then sponged the inside of the card with chalk and doodled some more. tfl

Linda, a sweet card for both challenges. I usually think of you creating the most gorgeous almost all-white cards....BUT you do "colors" equally as well.

Linda, that's a perfect retirement card. But, I sure would hate to think that is what I would be seeing very much when my hubby retires...kwim? LOL

What a cute retirement card Linda!!! Having just retired, I can relate to that dog tired pup! But now I'm tired because I do too many fun things each day, instead of being tired from the stress of work. Love it.
