First off I would like to acknowledge that this card is weird. You'll understand my inspiration shortly...well, it could be that I like Elvis and yes, he's an icon and he was a pioneer in rockabilly. The banner is made out of a blue suede type paper..another Elvis reference..but..why is most of the card blue you ask?? It's because my FAVORITE type of music is "The Blues" !!!!! I really have an eclectic taste in music..from classical to 60's rock to Celtic...I've sung in a lot of choirs but Blues just puts a smile on my face...in fact I'm smiling right now listening to Johnny Winter (hey, Hwy 61 ran through my hometown!). So for those of you uninitiated..give Blues a try...hey BB King might be in his 80's but he's got it..so do those young guys like Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd...OK..I'll be quiet now but if you see a smile on my face you know why...

Polly, a masterful card filled with all kinds of significant "clues" to your "THE KING" theme and your favorite genre of music. You put so much thought into each of your creations....I'm always impressed.

Polly! How can you even say your card is weird? It is wonderful! Didn't Elvis sing the Blues too?! I just think it is so cool that you have that blue suede and used it so perfectly! I LOVE that very pretty lace going up the side!!! I think your card is awesome, just like you!!!

You are my kind of gal! I have an eclectic taste in music, too and happen to think this card is the BOMB! Great job. Just over a year ago, my husband and I have the pleasure of seeing BB King in a small venue in Denver. It was outstanding. He was funny and did a lot of storytelling, but he can still wail on his guitar.
