I know it's July and summer is just getting started (at least here in Portland, Oregon), but the Creative Crew is celebrating Christmas in July. Won't you play along with us? Here are the details on this particular DSP/Color Focus Challenge: "Create a Christmas card in the designated colors (Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Very Vanilla) and/or Be of Good Cheer dsp using the Sketch Challenge 300. Use all three colors on your card."
I started with a Cherry Cobbler card base and stamped the flourish image from Daring Adventure with Cherry Cobbler ink three times in the upper left corner. I layered a strip of Be of Good Cheer dsp onto Gumball Green cs for one panel and ran a strip of Cherry Cobbler cs through my Big Shot with the Snowburst Embossing Folder for the other panel. For the main panel, I stamped the boot (how cute is this image?!) with Basic Black Craft Ink onto watercolor paper so I could emboss it with Black Emboss Powder. I used my Aquapainter and Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand markers to color the image and added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with my Two-Way Glue Pen to the fluffy parts of the boot. This panel is layered on Gumball Green cs, wrapped with a knot of 3/8" Stitched Satin Gumball Green ribbon and adhered to the card with Dimensionals.

I'm back Regina. B/T vacation and my computer crashing, I've been out of the loop. What a beautiful and fun holiday card. WOW, that sentiment with the sparkly boot is pure perfection. LOVE IT!
