I lucked out with today's colors..they're all in my background paper! This stamp reminds me of my childhood. My sister and I always wore a hat to church. One time I remember being at a wedding and wearing my hat (kind of resembled this but not as fancy) and being about seven at the time I was kind of fidgety...who cares about love? I was a tomboy and wanted to be running around outside. Well my hat fell off and landed in the pew behind us. I'm sure my mom was horrified. I probably had a goofy smile on my face. And yes, the lady behind me gave it back

every Easter, I had to have a new hat and white gloves and by the time i got to church, i had them off. i hated the gloves the most! And I didn't like the elastic band under the chin. Still don't like gloves and hats that much. But I like your card, it's so pretty and springy.

Oh, I love this hat, and I love your hat story. I think many of us remember our childhood days of wearing our pretty bonnets on Easter with our white gloves and patent shoes. I love your card, it certainly brings back wonderful memories TFS.

Great hat card! I love hats like this they are so lady like. Even for a tomboy! lol I have a habit of kicking off my shoes in church (and I am far from 7 yrs old!) One time I did this and my son managed to push it back by the next persons feet. The man that sits behind me is the sweetest gentleman. I just love. He kind of chuckled and gave my show back.
