Judy gave us a site that is amazing. A person could find inspiration from beginning to end. I chose this piece, http://charmingcharlie.com/cc/produc...ame=&pdpTrail=
A friend asked me to make a card for an elderly man who she thinks of as her Dad. I chose to emboss the image with gold. I then added a corner embellishment cut from a die. I added a gold and black braid. I used a gold leaf pen to write the sentiment. I wanted the card to look more vintage, than masculine. tfl

How gorgeous this is in the gold and brown. Perfect Father's Day card, and your friend will love giving it.

Linda, what a wonderful Father's Day card done in shades of brown and with the vintage pocket watch image. Wonderful corner flourish and bg embossing too.

A MAZING! My handwriting is so bad I hate to even sign my cards! I agree with Mrs Noofy :-) I love the elegance of the black and gold and I am sure your friend was thrilled with this card. I love the time piece stamp and the whole feeling that the debossing in the background and the corner piece gives. Beautifully vintage....
