I was watching a movie last night and saw a vase of purple and red flowers, two colours I rarely use and NEVER together so I went completly wild today and made a purple and red card. I used a Cuttebug embossing folder on both sides....The left side is inked with Memento Grape Jelly.
I flipped the cs over to the embossed side and made my Nesties square and topped it with a Flourishes poppie coloured with Copics.

This is SO stunning, Jo.....and creative to use the "positive" and "negative" of your EF. The red-orange flower against the lavender bg really pops. Beautiful colors and textures.

Goes to prove..your creative mind never stops working! Who would have thought to use a vase of flowers (perhaps a millisecond on the screen) as inspiration for this gorgeous card. I absolutely love the colour combination and your debossing looks gorgeous.
