Congrats to Tracy, the Featured Stamper this week on Splitcoast (FS275)! What a wonderful gallery she has and after much browsing, I chose her Happy Birdie Blue to case. I kept a similar layout but changed the colors, images die cut shapes. I needed a graduation card for one of my DH's nephews and these new Our Daily Bread designs images are perfect for the new graduate.
I die cut a square panel and with the die still in place, I sponged some of the neptune ink in the center and the pear tart ink toward the edges. After sponging, I stamped the sentiment. I like to do the sponging first so the stamped sentiment will stay clear and sharp. The frame was stamped on the larger square and colored a little with markers and sponged as well. The banners and tassels were die cut added below the sentiment. The finished card is 4.50 x 6.25 (A6).
Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff Thanks so much for looking!

Julie, your work always shows care and excellence. What a perfect grad card! Love the tassels and the wording in the bg paper. What heart!

What a classy beautifully designed card Julie! Those layered die cuts look amazing and your color scheme does too. Thanks for playing along and casing my card! :-)
