I wanted to catch the neat sketch on monday's CAS challenge and when I saw the sweet t-pot challenge was butterflies I knew I could combine them both. I was glad because I havent been to t-pot party in a long time, and miss you guys...:0)
I kinda cheated here and when I saw this sketch I had this sticker in my supplies for a while and wanted to make a card with it that would work well with it as its sooo pretty. I spent so long of time tho trying to find a small paper color to frame it...tried to match the butterfly or the wheat or the flowers and papers were so close , but not quite...lo...I know you have been there too. Finally decided instead of just one I would try a multi layer. Think it worked, then finished it with black.
added the sentiment and done...thanks for visiting..:0)

Wendy, lovely delicate flowers and butterflies.

That's such a perfect sticker for the butterfly theme this week. Know what you mean about trying to match colours - your multi-layered mount was the perfect solution.

Wanda Wendy! Whoo Hoo! Lotsa W's there! Hee! It is so very good to see you! We have missed you too! Big time! But one thing is for sure, you can still make a beautiful card as evidenced here! I love the softness of it and that sentiment is to die for...I mean to live for! You know what I mean! Welcome Back...lets get you some cookies girlfriend! They others will tell you I forget where I hide them all the time but they dont know what they are talking about! Snort!

This is so pretty, and the multi-colored frames really emphasize just the right elements. And yes, I've spent more time looking for matching papers than I have on all other elements of a card put-together, so I know exactly what you mean!
