What a fantastic challenge Judy! I wish I'd known you when you were over here too! The Belleek Factory is just a few hours drive from where we live and when American visitors come, it's at the top of their list (the wives anyway!) When my parents visit from the U.S. my Mum likes to visit too and she has a pretty collection. Belleek has a lot more modern and minimalist designs out right now, but my mother loves the old fashioned ones with shamrocks or flowers. I made this card for her for Mother's Day. To enhance the "porcelain" effect I used about three layers of embossing powder on everything including the rose and flourish. I was amazed at how much paper can look like porcelain. Having no brayer, I just had to ink the embossing folder with my pad, and it's not ideal because ink does get places it shouldn't!
Because I used pink, celery, and well, it's really off white, and kept it very clean, this is also for today's beautiful CAS color challenge. It doesn't show in the photo but the card base is off-white shimmer card which adds to the porcelain effect.
