Measurements: I used scraps that were already cut for the strips – pink – 1 3/16” x 4 11/16”, top aqua – 15/16” x 4”, lower aqua – 5/8” x 3 7/8”, poinsettia approx. – 2 ¾” x 3 5/8”.
Copic markers were used to color the poinsettia: R81,83,85,89, Y17,19, G82 on the berries, BG10 for shading on the insert.
I touched the tip of the R85 marker to R89 to create a darker area on the leaves.
AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze was applied to the berries. I also used the glaze to attach the pearls.
I cut the center areas out of the poinsettia with a craft knifeÂ…simply because I colored an area that shouldnÂ’t have been pink and this was my way of fixing the blunder.
The poinsettia was embossed on the leaves that would higher on the plant in real life to give dimension. I do this by outlining with a metal ball stylus on the front of the image, flip it over and emboss with a larger ball. I use a folded paper towel for cushion.
Stickles was added to the designer paper lines and snowflake centers.
