Thanks so much Emily and Roxi for the great sketch...This card is for the parents of one of my Confirmation class students. Their daughter Lauren (the 10 year old sister of my student) was just diagnosed with lymphoma. Her doctors are very optimistic about her making a full recovery, so I wanted a simple card of hope and encouragement for them. Sorry to be repeating myself from yesterday, but I am shamelessly requesting everyone to pray for Lauren and her family.
This layout screamed "inchies" to me, so I stamped two of the Fall set in Rhubarb stalk on Summer Sun CS. The Psalm is from Words of Wisdom. Punched with 1 3/8 square and matted with olive and cocoa punched with scalloped square punch. Matted the DCWV Indian Summer DP with more Summer Sun and mounted on a paperandmore.com glitter CS card that I first scored. PT - 6
Thank you so much for looking and for keeping Lauren and her family in your prayers. Have a peaceful day.

Marie, this is fabulous. I LOVE the colors and the dp. Gosh, I haven't used inchies in a while. They look great for this challenge. I'm remembering Lauren in my prayers. I was thinking of her and her family today. How hard it must be for them.

Keep encouraging everyone to pray for that sweet girl! There are some awesome prayer warriors on this site. This card is wonderful and warm and just the thing for her parents. Beautiful! Hugz!

I love this beautiful card, Marie. Just seeing this now and will certainly keep this young lady and her family in my prayers. It's so shocking to get a diagnosis like that for your child. I will send up a prayer to bless her doctors and for strength for them.
