Michelle's HYCCT challenge is to draw inspiration from your happy place. I think the most gorgeous place I've ever visited has been Lake Tahoe. I've always loved mountain scenery, and the blue of the lake is just simply magnificent.
I knew I wanted to do something with a mountain scene for my happy place card. But when I looked at my scenery stamps, I didn't feel like I could do justice to the quiet, serene beauty of the lake and the mountains. So I decided to use one of the photos that my husband took on our trip. I trimmed it down, added a few mats, and stamped a very simple sentiment that I think sums up the feeling of the place.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card! Comments are always welcome.

This card caught my eye. We had our family vacation in Lake Tahoe this year. It is a gorgeous place. This photo is fabulous! You could send this card to me. If you were looking for someone who would appreciate it. Smile. The word PEACE is a perfect description. Wonderful idea to trim a little and put it on some matting. Creative idea. I loved seeing this card. TFS.
