For the wonderful sketch Roxi gave us this morning. NORMALLY I would be on my way to work, but a funny thing happened to me last night.... I came home from the gym, an endorphin rush kicked in from the Group Power class I had just taken, and was looking forward to a quiet and relaxing evening. When I got the key in the door my heart lurched as the sound of a lawnmower running was coming from my kitchen... And that sound was coming from my NEW GE Profile refridgerator that I got in September as a FREE replacement for my not so old GE Profile refridgerator that konked out and was a lemon. The fridge temp was 57 and the freezer 46 and I was on the verge of losing all that food. I grabbed the manual and after 15 minutes was able to speak to a HUMAN BEING who gave me an appointment for a repair today between 8 and noon. The 1-800-GECARES number should be changed to 1--800-GEDOESNTGIVEAS%$&!!! Look, I know I am lucky to live in this country and many people in the world do not have food or a refridgerator to put it in but I must say I was TWEAKED!!!! I called my friend Pam to hurry over and take the food as she has a big family so we filled bags full of stuff from the freezer and fridge, dropped a few eggs on the floor and laughed hysterically, and I had 2 protein bars for dinner. The lady at 1-800-GECARES said to leave the fridge running because the repair man would have to hear it to diagnose the problem but honestly it sounded as if it was going to blow up, and became even louder without all the food in it which must have muffled the sound, it went from a sounding like lawnmower to a chainsaw. YIKES! So I pulled the plug and the quiet was wonderful. Why am I telling you all this? I suppose it somehow ties into my card featuring the set *Black Eyed Susans For Encouragement* since I needed some myself! And some wonderful news I just found out 2 ladies who take Group Power with me are stampers, so Barb and Marie if you are reading this here is a shout out to you and I am looking forward to a stamping playdate with you both!!!
Thank you for listenin g to my rant and remmeber.... *When life gives you lemons, STAMP!!!!*

Sorry about your stressful night. You really did a great job on your card. tfs. Isn't it amazing how they are so quick to sell you something, but then when you need service, it's like pulling teeth.

Well you have made a nice saga for us through your trials in the kitchen. Isn't it just great to get those 800 numbers. At least the person on the other end wasn't in India (or were they?). Enjoy your new stamping friends. I like your cheerful card!!!
