The Inspiration Challenge that Stef presents us each Saturday always seems to fuel imagination...and sometimes experimentation. It was the latter for me today. The site was LINDA BILLET'S BLOG which features her fantastic artistic creations in glass. I chose the NECKLACE in the middle of the second picture down on the left for my card.
My experiment: I took one of the sheets of acetate that come with my clear stamps(I don't know why, but I have been saving them for ages.) and colored it on the backside with markers(my non-Copics seemed to work best). I then flipped it and mounted it over the less shiny side of aluminum foil. On the front side I stamped my images with black Stazon ink. I thought it gave an interesting effect and had some of the metallic shine I perceived in the necklace piece.

Now why didn't I think of that?! I think you've just created a new technique that I'm definitely going to have to try! Your card is so pretty, Sallie, and reflects your inspiration piece so well. TFS your wonderful talent!
