This is for QFTD61 to honor our dear Joanne aka sleepyinseattle. Congratulations, Joanne! No one deserves this sweet honor than you. Joanne and I have been playing in challenges together since 2005 and it is a real pleasure to honor her today. I chose Joanne's Beautiful Day card as my inspiration piece.WT322 Beautiful Day by sleepyinseattle at Splitcoaststampers I love the gorgeous scene Joanne created and her coloring is gorgeous. I decided to keep almost the same card layout with just a slight adjustment with my frame but kept a scene theme. I changed up the image and went for bright red and green to go along with todays F4A65 "opposites attract" to opposing colors on the color wheel.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper, heat set and colored using a brush and reinkers mixed with water. I sponged in the sky with light aqua and yellow. I created the frame with a nestabilities and crimped it for a bit of dimension. The frame was attached with mounting tape.
