This is This week's Tuesday Teapot Challenge, I know it's very late...but I wanted to send flowers to Charlotte, I tried constructing a house, but it was a failure, so I had to go to plan B, bring flowers that was a bit easier...
My Pink flowers were made with Glitter, but this poor photo does not show how pretty they look. My background was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder using Coredinations Core Color cardstock. Sanding the black cardstock with sand paper brought out the design of the embossing.

Hi Jill! Oooh.....this is so beautiful! You know we need some flowers and construction is not that easy! Plus you get your hands all dirty and sometimes when you are nailing boards to things, you hit your thumb! Flowers are more forgiving! Tee hee! Wowza, what a wonderful eye catching card, gorgeous card, love the colors! No worries about coming in the late gate, we are still here! Hugs.

I find it hard to believe your house was a real failure, but this will be such a beautiful card for Charlotte to receive. I was never a big pink person, but pink and brown (or is it black?) is always a winning colour combination, and this is so dainty with the delicate spray of flowers and added lace.

Beautiful card! I love the colours! The textile embossing folder is one of my favorites, I think it adds elegance and looks great combined with the satin ribbon, lace and glitter!

How clever of you to sand the embossed paper to being out the other color - looks amazing, and got to love that gorgeous lace too! Just a simple bouquet of flowers - something I like to think would please Kate the most!! Great card!!!
