Here's my card for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge - to use Tulips on your card.
This week, our cards are going postal to Kay, a 90 year old grandmother of a fellow SCSer, who has suffered some falls and could use a little encouragement as she recovers. She loves flowers and scripture - So I have a tulip on the front of my card and a Bible verse inside for her.
I used this week's colors of Concord Crush, Crumb Cake and Ivory which were suggested to host Betty by Kim this week.
I used an old SU set - Terrific Tulips (it seems that is the ONLY tulip stamp I have!?!) I stamped the tulip head on a scrap, cut it out and layered it over the first stamping using foam tape. I sponged the edges with Milled Lavender Ink.

We both went for the same stamp. I have always loved this set and it was fun to use again. I like the blue/lavender color you chose and I really like the bow treatment.

One of my all-time fave SU sets...don't ever want to part with it. Your card is lovely and perfect for the tea party as well as the CC!
