This week our cards will go out to Kim. He is 41, has prostate cancer (too young) which has sadly progressed to his bones. Kim loves to cook, and loves the Boston Bruins. Sorry, I'm not a hockey follower, but I do like Fords, okay I own one too. You ask why Fords and not a Chevy... Kim is the Chairman of Local 584 of Ford Company.
I've brought a 1934 Ford Roadster,
it beats my 2003 Ford 4x4 Ranger.
The Roadster has the good looks,
it's an ace on the books.
So look out Mustang Sally,
and Delores Taurus.
This Roadster is really going to ROAR!
I have taken the accompanying photo, scanned it, and went to Photo Shop to do some manipulating. In Photo Shop I have gone to Filter, pulled that down, went to Stylize and over to emboss.
The final result is what you see on the card. Way cool.
Once done there, I have layered this to a blue denim piece of c/s, then to the card which has a nice leather texture. The ribbon is between the blue and the card.
Wishing you well is stamped and embossed onto an oval, then adhered to the smallest Label 10.
I'm going to send the photo also. This was taken back in I think in June of 1998 at Julliard Park on a foggy day. A perfect day for photography.
To think this Roadster is the same age as my Mom...
Kim, I hope you'll like this and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Keep positive!!
I'll be back tomorrow morning, I'm off to watch Dancing with the Stars!

Wow! Amazing job on this card! I have seen similar-type tools in Corel PHOTO-PAINT but only tried it as I was playing around looking for something else. None of my playing ever looked like this! Fantastic job and awesome way to use the software. Great that you're including the photo too - it really helps to appreciate the technique. adding to favs
