Hello! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Breeze, (it's a blue), Suede and Cake, (it's a light brown.)
I'm usually not able to participate in Tuesday Challenges and it's somewhat difficult for me to keep awake right now. I've been working like a dog. Okay, not one of MY DOGS...Those lazy bums are pretty much SLEEPING most of the time...LOL
I wanted to pick up the blue, and browns, so I stamped the images in VersaMark's Vintage Sepia. Next, I outlined the images with a Memento Marker. I used Copics with my airbrush to get the combo of colors for the scene.
The background piece of dp was crinkled, smoothed out, then I rubbed an Adirondack Ginger pad over the bumps and bends.
I added a Satin and 2 sheer ribbons along with brown twine for a bit of "fluff."
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 38 minutes

Faith, this is such a wonderful card!! I love the simplicity of the image and those brads are such an interesting element! And even with 3 ribbons and twine, the image still stands out the most; everything else just compliments it!!!! Great job!
