This card is so not me. But what a fun technique to try!! The first thing that is so not me is I made this card in like 5 minutes. The next thing that is so not me is that it is covered in bling. The third thing that is so not me is it is all glittery. This is a very cool technique, but did I mention, it is so not me. Why, if it wasn't for the honkin' fat bow, I would not even think I thought this one up! I guess I could have made it easier on myself if I used colored cs and clear powder, but glittery paper and iridecsent ice embossing powder, whoa baby, so not me. Anyway- that's what a challenge is all about, right?? I never get to play in this challenge cuz I don't like to start Monday out tired, but I took a nap earlier. Hope you like my glittery, blingey, icey, shiney card!! ;) Happy Monday everyone.....where did the weekend go??

What a pretty, sparkly card, Karen!! Even though much of the card is not "you", I would have recognized your work by the bow alone (I'm jealous! I can never make even simple bows no less the fancy, gorgeous ones you make!) I love the sparkly paper with the heat embossing on top of the dry!

Beautiful, just goes to show you that sometimes you need to get out of your box with a challenge. If this card isn't you, your "you" cards must be amazing. Off to have a look at your gallery. TFS, I love this card.

Wow!! I DO see a little Karen Barber in there, you know!! It's got beautiful flowers, a gorgeous bow, and striking use of colors!!! Sometimes these challenges really push me out of my comfort zones too, stuff I'd NEVER do otherwise! In fact it's so gorgeous, I think there's a blingey, shiney, glittery Karen in there, who secretly enjoyed getting out!
