This is for IC268 and Barbie Collector was our inspiration site. My inspiration was Couture Confection Bride. http://www.barbiecollector.com/node/1809 I loved all the soft colors and thought they would be perfect to use on a baby card.
I stamped the images on watercolor paper with versafine black and heat set. I always have a bit of a hard time trying to color in an open space around images like the sky background of this image. It seems my ink wants to run on into the images as well. I learned somewhere (I can't remember where I got this hint) that if you paint an area lightly with plain water and not allowingthe water to enter the image line that when you add color it will not run past where the orginal water line was. I used this technique here and it not only protected the images but also made the aqua sky color apply more evenly. I popped up additional bunnies and the box for the jack in the box and the adorable little duck pull toy. I thought this would look really pretty layered on pure white and it gave me the opportunity to use my new punch around set.

Kittie, this is so sweet. I put it into my faves--not that I, in a million years, could paint an image as lovely as you can, though. Love the layout and your pretty colors.

Perfection Kittie! This is the most awesome baby card and the popped up images look like a real window scene. I love the punched around (I have not mastered that yet) and it's just lovely for your amazing card. wonderful colors and a great take on the inspiration.

This is the most delicate and beautiful baby card, Kittie. I LOVE the colors, the lace border, the dots...THE WHOLE THING!! Though, I do feel I should whisper my words instead of shouting how much I love this!!

Kittie, it's great to see you create in soft pink today. The arch of the window reminds me of the arch of tulle of the fancy Barbie. The coloring on these little guys with the shadows- awesome.
