Hi! This card was made for today's Free 4 All Challenge: Tell me about it, Stud. (It's from Grease. And now, I can't stop singing that song!!!)
So, while I had all the intensions of staying home and READING away the day, I ended up having to go into work. I really needed a break, but, and I'm NOT complaining, (okay, maybe a little...), but I had to meet with vendors. I don't particularly enjoy the high pressure vendor meetings. However, today, I had fun. I sat there, in my sloppiest outfit, no make-up, trashy flip flops and ATE during EVERY meeting. And, these vendors must take there cues from the Drug Reps, because they catered in food! All FOUR of them! We had so much food at the office that we ended up sending home care packages with EVERYONE! Hey, you want a piece of 6 layer Red Velvet cake? Seriously...It was HUGE!
So, after eating like a pig the entire day, I decided to stay up and wait for tomorrow's challenge. (That, and I took 3 walks with the dogs. Man, I'm bushed. Kittie Kat and Tom Kat are bruisers....)
The background for the focal image was stamped with the sentiment in Palette Hybrid Ink's Toile Pink. Then, I over-stamped the sentiment in Adirondack's Pitch Black. I wasn't sure how it would look, but I kinda like it! The cup was stamped in Adirondack's Pitch Black and colored in with Copics.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 34 minutes.

As always, a beautiful card - love the buttons and butterflies and the teacup is awesome! The colors are very soft and serene. Oh, and love the little piece of ribbon!

Pink and green is one of my most FAV color combos, so I just love this. Your text background turned out so great--good idea to overstamp in black!
