Emily Keaton is hostess this week for the Stampin B's Design Team challenge. And, what a fun challenge it is! Emily has made several cards with pennants and it really made me want to make one. I noticed a few weeks ago on her blog she mentioned she had found an easier way to make a pennant and that was with a diamond punch. I ordered one and it came in time to make this card.
I just punched the diamond shape and folded in half.
I cut a couple of the punched shapes down with scissors to make them smaller.
I then strung my shapes on red and white twine. My paper was fairly thick and I think next time I will use paper just a bit thinner to get a smoother look.
Of course, you don't have to have a punch to make pennants but it does make it easy.
Thanks to Debzi333 for the pretty button and rhinestones I won in the gallery comment contest she was hosting. And, Happy Birthday, Debz!!!!!!
This is a fun challenge and we would love to see your banner card. The keyword is StampinB if uploading to SCS.
