This is for FS198 and Sarah-CriminalGrace is our featured artist. I had a great time surfing Sarah's galleries and was especially inspired by her CAS frame card Summer Fun II. Summer Fun II by criminalgrace at Splitcoaststampers I really love how crisp her card was with the unstamped card base and how her flips flops and ribbon popped. I used the same card layout with a simple card base and frame punched with a Nestabilities. I did change the card size, theme, image and color combination. I like the wintery scene popping out of the red and finished off with the tiny gingham ribbon.
I stamped the little winter tree from A Tree for All Seasons with black versafine and heat set. I sponged blue in the sky using a hand cut scalloped cloud template and stylus and foam tip. I painted the tree with Pumice Stone and Vintage Photo and colored in the little mittens and scarf with a red marker. I heat set all the ink and then using a tiny brush I painted the falling snowflakes and snow on the tree limbs ground with white craft ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I mounted the scene on mounting tape on the inside of the card.
Stamps: A Tree For All Seasons
Paper: Red, Watercolor
Ink: Ranger Distress Pumice Stone, Vintage Photo, Stormy Sky, White Craft, Black Versafine

Love this card. I love the scene, but more important I love that you used an older stamp set. I need to use more of my older sets and not buy a new set everytime I want to create something. Thanks for sharing.

Kitty, your version of my card is absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much for CASEing it *and* using my all-time favorite Stampin' Up set while doing it. You've totally made my day.
