-Faux layers were done on this card which means the green is separate pieces of cardstock attached to the card on the same level as the white. The top strip is attached with a thin line of glue.
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used to color the image using the Gamsol technique. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol/mineral spirits.
-A lacquer (Art Glitter Adhesive) was applied to the pools of water on the image.
-The snowflake is glittered with Stickles and the brads attaches to the ribbon.
The envelope is hand cut and the snowflakes are punched completely through the envelope. Next clear packing tape is attached over the snowflakes on both the front and back. Cover the sticky side of the tape with glitter, brush it off good and itÂ’s ready to glue closed.
The insert has the negative pieces of the border punch glued to the bottom edge.

Now thats a realistic looking ice skates image - dropped at the door so that someone can run in and warm up their fingers around a mug of hot chocolate! I love this image, it brings back childhood memories and the hat and scarf are so pretty! Lovely technique on the envelope and insert too!
