Card for my friend, Marilyn who turns 90 this week! Marilyn has twin daughters, and I thought this image was a fun look for her special birthday. Ninety! And Marilyn is a wicked bunko player too!
The main image from Tin Can Mail was done using Tim Holtz distress inks and was sponged at the edges. I used multiple layers, and stitched the edges (thinking of you, Kokirose!) and added Primas and a vintage-look button.
What a delish gallery to see this day! Tobi, I had so much fun getting to know you via your work! Beautiful cards, each one! I chose Tobi's CC card, keeping the layout and changing the colors and images. I loved the button on your card and wonderful nestie frame. Thanks for sharing your work! Hope your FS week is the best! (psst..watch out for Commentor's Claw!) Ouch!
Thanks for looking!

You are going to have to teach me how to do flowers like this - Ai - yi - yi, I am so challenged by them!! This is a wonderfully designed card that will really be appreciated by Marilyn - it reminds me of the cards I had once seen in my John's MOM's stash from when she got cards from John's Dad before they were married (circa 1940-ish) Simply Vintage Candy!!! perfect in every way!!

This is amazing. I love all the detail on it, so much to look at. Your machine stitching is so beautiful, I wish I sewed well enough to warrant owning a machine like that!
