Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use it Challenge: GREEN. It also fits today's Stampin' B's Challenge to use an animal in a die cut. And, it fits this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge to make a holiday card.
This week...well, you know the drill. I worked the election polls on Tuesday. That made for a 16 hour work day. Then, on Wednesday, I needed to catch up on everything I didn't do on Tuesday. Of course, NOTHING on my list got done, since all of WEDNESDAY's stuff had to get finished! LOL So, for the rest of the week, I'm NOT AT THE OFFICE! I'm working in seclusion. Everyone else is at the office, just NOT ME! I have to CREATE...I'm ubber tense, and that's never good. So, I stamped. I needed it. Believe me.
I stamped the image on Wowza Watercolor paper and colored it in using Pearlescent Watercolors. Next, I cut it out and adhered it to the focal panel. The gold guilding was done but running SMOOCH INK done the edges of the focal panel and the sentiment layer. It's so much EASIER than a paint pen! The applicator looks like one in a nail polish bottle, but it's stiffer, and easier to control.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 47 minutes

I'm so glad you take the time to get away and create. I always love seeing the results. A day without a Faith creation is a day without the Florida sunshine!!!! You are the most amazing woman I know!! How you inspire me!!!
