I have had a few PM's since posting this to describe what I did...
I sure appreciate your praise..I was pretty happy how it turned out. It was inspired by a few places, for layout and ideas. I used a vanilla base to stamp the French script on in Cherry Cobbler. Then I stamped the Medallion with Versamark ink over a portion of the French Script and clear embossed over that. at this point you won't really see the Medallion over the script. Then you take your brayer and roll a dark ink (I used Cobbler, but Navy blue, or chocolate would be lovely, too, I think...or a dark purple!) once you start brayering over the vanilla card stock the medallion will appear over the French script, After your ink dries a bit, wipe away the ink that is on the embossing...I had to use a damp cloth on the embossing, careful not to use it much on the inked BG. I hope this helps. If you have more questions you can ask again...
If you click on Resources and then type in 'emerging' in the search...(or scroll down and see all the fabulous techniques there are for us to spark our creativity) There might even be a video...
but just go pull out some ink and try, you'll see it come together just like you want it to!
Then link back your example to here for me to see!
Enjoy your weekend

Love your card! I tried to CASE this but I am having trouble when I wipe the ink off.... the image does not show up "white"... its clear and blends in and is same color as the background. would love to send you pics but It doesn't give me the option here to show you. I have watch youtube for last hour and when they rub off the ink on the embossed part - it shows the original color of paper. I'm stumped. any suggestions?

UPDATE: I have detected its the RED. Its messy...lol... I switched over to green and I love it even more. Happy Stamping!
