I don't really like combining challenges too much - but we're heading off on holidays on Saturday morning and I haven't even started packing, plus there's leaving the house all clean and tidy and cleaning the fridge out.
So - this is the sketch challenge today, it's my *proper* card for the MMTPT challenge, and it's for both the current ODBD challenges - SNTODBD17 to use embossing resist, and ODBDSLC28, to use forgotten embellishments.
A2 base. Background panels are Inspired by Nature stamped in Peeled paint on white card and sponged with Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Tumbled Glass. For the narrow strip I then embossed it with Forest Branches and wiped with Peeled Paint. Both panels layered up on scraps of Bazzill.
Main panel; stamped the frame from Vine Borders with Brilliance Mediterranean Blue and embossed with clear EP. Stamped the butterfly with Versafine Black and coloured with H2Os. Used a Versamark pen and embossed with clear EP. Sponged all over with Antique Linen and Scattered Straw. Trimmed to size and stamped with Inspired by Nature. Sponged edges with blue and then layered up on more scraps of Bazzill. Added two MME flowers tied with tiny strips of the green Bazzill, and pink, blue and green gems in the corners.

So fresh and lovely...I really like your filigree border framing the butterfly! Getting ready to leave on a trip is always a rush, I do it all the time and it cuts into my stamping!!
