I'd just taken a couple of photos of some of the Cosmos in the garden over the weekend, so when I saw Silvia's challenge this morning one of my thoughts was to make a Cosmos-inspired card. Besides, I haven't had this set long enough to be familiar with all the stamps in it, I need to use it more .
Long tall card to fit a business envelope.
Dry-wall mesh tape.
3 blooms stamped on pink paper that was then sponged with Worn Lipstick, with Liquid Pearls dotted on in the centres. I used wire from a cake-decorating shop for the stems and added leaves. Tied some dais-printed organza ribbon around.
Finishing touch was a little Papermania butterfly, coloured to look like a Cabbage White (easy peasy job, that!), with single strands of knotted embroidery floss for the antennae. The base of the butterfly is glued directly to the card, the wing tips are raised up on foam.

That mesh is a beautiful setting for the cosmos, and that ribbon is so sweet!

Just checking out your gallery and noticed this beautiful card with the dry wall tape. You go, Girl. This is wonderful. Looks like it's growing right up a trellis. I love it.
