When I saw today's sketch, the first thing I thought was "kickstand card". Today's sketch is perfect for it. So that is what I did. I've been dieing to paper piece this sweetie with this new paper I bought at Tuesday Morning for such a bargain. And I'm using it. Yay.
I sponged all edges including image with Worn Lipstick then Walnut Stain Distress Inks from Tim Holtz. I colored, pieced and sponged my image then adhered to oval. I sponged with Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue around my image then did the edges with Walnut Stain.

I LOVE your pink gingham card with the adorable paper pieced gingham sheep!! Your sponging just sets it off too. I've never heard of a kickstand card so that was an education for me - great idea.
