Sometimes ya like the colors....sometimes ya don't. So I TRIED to go to bed, I really did,,,,but Jenna had laid out the cardstocks next to me where she may use them tomorrow and they kept saying....."Just give us a try...we're not so bad....." so I gave them a try. Then the battery went dead on my camera and I can't find the charger again. Everyone is sleeping because the rest of my family has brains....so I can't ask anyone where it is so my picture is lame, because I had to take the best one I got and I didn't have enough battery left to take the usual 42. So anyway, it is what it is. A sickness of sorts. I should be in bed, but so it goes. Hope you like it, lousy picture and all. Sorry about MORE black striped gg but it just neeeeeded it.....It didn't turn out so bad after all. But that curry color still gives me the willies. Happy Tuesday everyone!
OH, and of course, Moondoggie was out shopping and brought these lovely BRIGHTLY COLORED flowers to the luau, after all, what is a luau without brightly colored flowers?? He also bought sunglasses for everyone who had to gaze at the curry colored flowers.....so bright that Moondoggie, who is used to night light, got a terrible headache and almost missed the luau!!! Sunglasses saved the day....and everyone was happy......all's well that ends well, as is the case of crushed curry. Goodbye brightly colored yellow that stands my hair on end....I will miss you terribly. (NOT)

The card caught my eye because I love that stamp set and what a great way to use it. The combo of colors worked out just great. I really enjoyed your description though! Great fun.

terrific card, the color challenge scares me most weeks, I'm glad I'm not the only one that takes lots of photos, sometimes it's needed to get one I kinda like, but stay up late, not me. But I'm not saying that I have a brain either, lol...love how you layered the colors and of course I love the big bow, TFS

All your elements work together so well! These colors have the possibility of being "in-your-face" but you have managed to keep the brightness of them on a classy card.

Karen, your description just cracked me up! I needed a morning laugh! I'm another one that won't be sad to see the in colors go...just didn't fall in love with them this year. :-) Your card really is beautiful and I always enjoy seeing everyone's interpretation of the colors!

This is beautiful! Don't know how you can be so creative so late at night! I also had the paper layed out late, but couldn't think of anything to do with it! I love your results, and that ribbon does look great with it! Your faux stitching is a great touch, and the embossing is fantastic! You can do this late at night? I start making a lot of mistakes after 11:00, like spilling the EB Powder on the floor, etc! Great take on the challenge!
