Today's TLC challenge was so much fun. It is to do pounded flowers. I've certainly never tried that before and really enjoyed my first attempt. I went out into the dew early this morning to get my coreopsis. Didn't encounter bears or opossums as some of the ladies did. LOL
Instead of a bg, I cut my flower out with a blossom nestie and used dp for my background. Watercolored around my flower with a soft green. I really love this technique and will want to try it again.
I also made this card to honor Kittie747 as QFTD.
I loved going through her awesome gallery and chose Flowers and Butterflies to case. Flowers and Butterflies by kittie747 at Splitcoaststampers I kept Kittie's layout, moved my ribbon to the top, used a different nestie, image, and bg dp. Kittie, I hope you're enjoying your week as Queen. Also, have a Happy Birthday week.

Wow, what a great technique, Benzi!! This looks awesome. I love the colors you chose, and that ribbon you tied into a lovely bow is terrific!! What a great pattern it has. I'm so glad you didn't encounter any wildlife while collecting your coreopsis specimen!!!
