Our third challenge is to use dimensionals to create height and dimension on our card. I have been wanting to do one of these cards for a long time where the image is broken down in layers. This challenge gave me the reason to quit procrastinating! ;)
My card base is saffron and the base image and 3 additional layers are all raised up on dimensionals.
The cutting of the layers was a bit fiddly but not difficult. I had stamped a "practice image" and drew lines where I wanted the layers. Then I stamped 4 good images (which of course required 7 or 8 tries!) and trimmed the edges so that all 4 were identically positioned. Then all I had to do was trim the edges according to my plan.
To get the images placed right where I wanted them, I did each layer with one dimensional first, then one by one placed the other dimensionals. It wasn't TOO bad...! Lastly, I placed the stack on the card base on dimensionals.
BTW, I did the color with watercolor pencils and brush.
