This card is for the upcoming June birthday of a dear SCS friend and fellow Punchkateer. She loves birds and sings in two choirs and is a billionaire (so she loves to jet around the world to buy new punches just to make the rest of us drool).
I used today's sketch challenge, SC282, and the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club challenge to use sheet music in your card to make this music-themed birthday card. This card also qualifies for this week's Crafty Creations Challenge, to use your favorite stamp. I used my new PTI Everyday Button Bits stamp set, which *is* my new favorite!!!
And because the soon-to-be birthday girl loves her punches, I used a ton on this card!! Let's see: MS deco fan corner punch, MS deco fan border punch, CM corner rounder, SU scallop trim border punch, SU 1" circle punch, CM 1.5" circle punch, and SU designer label punch. Whew!! That was a workout!!
Paper: vintage hymnal page, DCWV textured card stock, Paper Company card stock, DP scraps
Ink: Palette noir black, Palette burnt umber, Palette hay stack
Accessories: MS deco fan corner punch, MS deco fan border punch, CM corner rounder, SU scallop trim border punch, SU 1" circle punch, CM 1.5" circle punch, SU designer label punch, buttons, burlap string, sponge, brads, dimensionals

Cute description, Emzi! Boy, I have been out of the loop, SCS-ly speaking, lately. I missed this beauty! I have that birthday stamp too and have never touched it because I did not know what to do with it. I like how you have used it, and also made those birds using your new PTI stuff. (although, with all of the OTHER new stuff you've been winning lately, the PTI isn't so new anymore.....)

Another darling card with those birdies, Emzi!! Love the bows on the buttons and the punch you used to frame the center panel.
