Betty gave us the challenge colors of: Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, neutrals of choice and stencils as dessert.
I thought of the neat brass stencil I had with bare tree images. I chose a dull orange paper that I thought approximated Dusty Durango and test sprayed some bleach on it. Bleach reacts differently on different papers. Serendipity!!...it bleached to a color that was similar to So Saffron..perhaps a shade lighter. I decided to go with it. My camera has really "bleached out" this yellow color. My "test spray" piece is the underneath panel...hate to waste paper! : ) Then I glimmered and blinged up the tree panel. The photo really doesn't show the shimmery effect as in real life.

Sallie, I think you and I are in the same mood.. I am playing with all kinds of fun things today too. I love to do that... your card shows, that you were having fun... and created something really super GREAT... I love it when things happen like that.. this is really neat... I love the look you got with the bleach and also with the trial piece... and love the 'corrugated' look in the far back... all very nice topped off with a golden leaf... wow... really nice.
