This card was created for my step son. He is half way through boot camp and just needs a little encouragement. I thought the sketch challenge SC280 would work well for this. And then low and behold there is a challenge for distressed edges WT270... so this fits here too. TFL! I love comments and try to return them... so please leave me some love... thanks.
The paper is from the Paper Studio and so are the stickers. My mom brought them to me to make ty notes for the vets center she works for. Thought I'd squeek out a card for the kid out of it first.
The stamps are from a set, the boots and the dog tags, and I've had them for years so I don't know who they are by.
I added THT049 because PrincessHeather said it fit... now to find that challenge...

What a great card and a great subject to distress on. Awesome for you for making that encouraging card. Our military certainly deserves thanks and encouragement.
I just may have to CASE this card. My son is at basic--finishing his 3rd week. He is a little homesick. I think this would give him a boost and let him know how proud I am.
It's beautiful. I have a hard time with the guy cards but you hit it.
