Wow, I've needed a few sympathy cards within the last few days. I find them to be the most difficult to create!
I borrowed a stamp from my friend and inked it with Colorbox white pigment ink. Then, colored the image with Prismacolored pencils and the SU! signo pen. The Butterfly punch is a CTMH punch. I used the MS double loop punch for the blue border. I ran the pink panel through the CB using a Sizzix ef. The sentiment is SU! Thoughts and Prayers, cut out with nesties and sponged with Colorbox sky blue ink. I added the pink shear ribbon and half pearls.
What do you think?
2 punches, 2 nesties and CB!!! Worth at least 12 lbs!!! :P

Sorry you have to make a sympathy card Lesley, but it's a beauty for sure and I know will bring great comfort. I've just got to try that black magic technique. You've really done a spectacular job with this whole card. The colors, the ribbon, embossing and border punching. Kookzi, you were asking about the brand of border punch I used on my last card. It was Martha Stewart also and I think it was called Rings. The one you used here is the double rings I think!! Great job and add in another 2 pounds for great work!!! TFS!!

This is fabulous : D I just LOVE that butterfly punch - I have a slight addiction to butterflies LOL! The MS border punch is lovely and the black BG for the focal image is stunning. Great scoring in the BG too. Great card!
