We couldn't hold you in suspense any longer, so today if you visit the blogs, you should see the cards posted by the one who actually made it. So, this is the card I made. I had the task of caseing fellow DT member, Becca Feeken, and she posted this on her blog. The verse is from the new set by Our Daily Bread designs.
I noticed while I was uploading, that this fits with the IC challenge so I hope y'all don't mind if I include it. I liked this Spring/Summer 10 to go with my card.
This is really just a lot of layers with black mats behind them. I used a large hole punch and a stylus to round out the toile button in the center of my bow. The pearls were made by me, using liquid pearls on a scrap of ivory c/s, letting them dry then I used an 1/8 inch hole punch on the small ones and a 1/4 inch punch on the large one. Some Cuttlebug flourish die cuts were added as well as the bow.
If you played along yesterday, how well did you do matching the cards w/ the correct designer? We had a lot fun and I hope you did, too. Thanks for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
