Hi! This card was made for today's Featured Stamper Challenge: Mutnik. I chose the CASE, (Copy And Share Everything), this card.
Yesterday got very busy for me, very quickly, starting with Scout our dog who is now without his buddy, refusing to eat or drink. This has gone one since Dog passed away last Thursday. I had to pick up Scout and cuddle him for over 3 hours, waiting for the Emergency Vet to open. Did you know that it's a $400 Emergency Fee??? Well, I was very relieved to find out that Scout will, "Eat when he gets down right hungry!" Yep, that and $400 will get you a 3 hour wait, a crying child and a semi angry hubby. So, of course, when we got home Scout ate all the cat food, his dog food and some of our Dinner! He jumped up on the table and grabbed the STEAKS!!!!! OMGosh, what a day we had...Mark laughed so hard he almost choked. He said, "This is like a Chevy Chase movie!" I was furious! Markie is now hiding Scout in his room because it's a DOG SANTUARY! You can't yell at animals or people in Markie's room. Not quite sure when that rule was made, and I do NOT remember ever voting on it. However, the tears have stopped, and we have to RE-TRAIN good ol' Scout not to jump on the table. (My gosh, he's over 14 years old, you'd think he'd know better!)
Since I had these papers already on my stampin' table to do the IC challenge yesterday, I decided to combine today's challenges and used the March 19 cupcake as COLOR inspiration for today's card. I used papers and ribbon from the "I've Got the Blues....And the Greens" paper craft pack. I added in Momma's Favorite Purple Linen for the oval and used Pensacola Sand for the base and focal layer.
The image was stamped in black, and sponged in with Hybrid inks.
Finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/12"
Total time to complete: 28 minutes

Faith, this is so gorgeous. Your bird is amazing. So sorry about Scout's loneliness. So sad....
