This is for Gwen and Cindy's combined challenges of color and teapot tuesday!! We had the option to make a card of encouragement for a young mom-to-be who was just diagnosed with cancer and has 6 months of chemo ahead of her. Our colors were bashful blue, certainly celery and mambo melon and the teapot inspiration was a quilted teapot. I did a lot of sewing on this card to give it a homespun, quilted effect.

This card is so beautiful, with such soft and pretty colors. Your stitching and layout do remind me of a gently-loved quilt that my daughter's great-grandmother made her when she was very young.
