Today's TLC was Vintage. It's way out of my comfort zone, and usually I try to do too much, to make up for that.
Today I kept it simple, and went for a soft, old-fashioned feel which I hope counts.
Thanks to Peggy for the hardware and probably the lovely vellum, too, which was my starting point.
A2 base, some solid Basic Grey stamped with Canvas in Walnut Stain, with the edges distressed and sponged with Peeled Paint. I stamped Flourishes Rose on some pretty vellum with StazOn Grey, and coloured the back with pencils. Distressed the edges and sponged with Peeled Paint. Scalloped the bottom, and also punched a second scalloped border to add underneath. Stamped the rose part of the text on the background paper, punched out, and added the hardware with a brad through a knot of old lace. Added one single clear DewDrop in the bottom corner.
This is also for the Flourishes FTTC56, to use scallops. After I decided to use the rose instead of a Penny Black dandelion that I had first pulled out, I think this definitely qualifies.

Oh yeah Sabrina!!! I just love to see what you come up with the stuff I sent you. Yeah, that velum was mine and you made it look sooo pretty and vintage! I knew you would even make the hardware look good. You are THE master of cardmaking for me! Beautiful work my kind friend.
