I really love the idea of this fence ,cased from michelle laycock. thanks michelle ,there are so many ways to use this fence.. I layered vellum for the snow. and cut out my own hat to be larger.. to make the sky darker at the top.. i used midnight blue, and stippled it. really had fun with this one..

Lisa62, so glad you like my card, The fence is made with the SU small square punch. I cased the fence pattern from a card made by Michelle Laycock awhile back.. she has the fence pattern in the forums under the DD forums,
( 4 seasons fence )
i cut the paper the size that fits the card, and for my heights, and then started with the middle row, made my punches then did a row above and below. then stamped out part of a square for the ends.. cut off the tops at an angle. and color it however you would like..
I didn't have a weathered wood background so i used the jagged edge of a shadow stamp to get the look i wanted.
Michelles directions may be easier, you might want to take a look.
so there you are .. give it a try.. they are so much fun.. thanks.
