Cindy challenged us with an all white teapot today. I think Abner and I could get along really well, accept that he is made of snow and I am so tired of snow that I am going to scream. Had to shovel 8 inches off of my driveway yesterday. I'm so sore today!!! We do share a longing for color though so for today Abner and I have something in common. Cindy challenged us to have a white background and add a little color. I really tried to do that, but the color wouldn't stay off of it. I justified it by the fact that I started with a white piece of cardstock to make this card. No colored cardstock. I inked, brayered, chalked, markered and prisma colored all of the color you see. This is also for the olympic color challenge. I did event # 5 with my gold dessert being the little bit of gold glitter in the centers of the flowers.
This card was also a combination of my last 2 cards.
I am have a tutorial on my blog for making the dogwood flowers. Check it out... Mississippi McGyver. Warning... I have music on my blog.
Cindy you said NO SNOWFLAKES, so I guess I am going to have to come in the back door. You don't see the snowflakes? They are the centers of my flowers.

The scene you have created is beautiful. I started to say it is what Silverton looks like in the summer but we don't have cardinals. Oh well, we are all imagining many things today. Off to check out your tutorials.
