My Tuesday was so crazy that I didn't make it to the Mardi Gras Teaparty, I still had fun making my card. I drew a mask and cut it out and used my star punch to make the eye holes. I used my layers of color butterfly that I love so much and cut the wings apart and cut the outside of the wings off and attached them to the mask. I used an embossing pen to make the swirls on my polka dotted dp. I added rhinestones and glitter. I wanted to share that I saw a kings cake in my grocery store yesterday. It had plastic beads and a plastic baby on it. It also had the warning... "Don't eat the plastic beads or plastic baby." Did it really need that warning?????
Made sure I had my purple for justice, green for faith and gold for power.

Yay! I am so glad your work allowed you to finish this up! OMG! Marilynn...isn't it the coolest??? I didn't know that is what the colors stand for! Or did you make that up, is it make believe? Snort!
You had a wonderful idea using butterfly parts as mask decorations and the gold accents just makes everything pop! This is really a fun card and would make a wonderful happy new year card......yes, I think you could actually send this to a normal person! Its awesome!

I'm just loving all that gold and jewels. Such a great card for the tea party challenge this week. Your butterflies make awesome additions for the mask. Wonderfully done!
