This week's Teapot Tuesday Tea Party is in New Orleans. It just so happens that MotherMark has agreed to sign us all up to help a sweet lady named Martie McGraw come up with her own Mardi Gras Parade and assorted celebrations. The problem is that the companies supplying Mardi Gras are fresh out of the 42,000 tons of supplies they had ready for the main Mardi Gras events. Our mission (of course we chose to accept it) was to bring any and all beads, masks, costumes, decorations, food, etc. we could find.
I brought some Mardi Bras - they look great and still provide needed support! I actually made it on time today since I live within 5 hours of New Orleans - yea! I wanted to make sure and get in line for the homemade chocolate cake before it was all gone.

Nancy, This is a fabulous card! You have really nailed the "clean and simple" style. I need to get back to joining in on the tea parties. This looked like a fun one!
