Hi! This card was made for today's Stampin' B's Challenge to make a Winter Fun card and I drew in a bird to make it fit today's Ways to Use it challenge.
Mark is home today and was watching me try to "draw" the bird on a scratch piece of paper. He burst out laughing!!! I was just sketching, not drawing. So, I said, "I'll show you!" and I promptly grabbed my marker and I DREW that bird onto the FINISHED CARD! I thought, "Gee...it's a little big, but you can see him!"
Mark said laughing even louder, "Gee, it looks like Speedy the Cat's going to be HAWK FOOD!" I laughed...he laughed...the REAL Speedy the Cat was NOT amused!
I used a torn piece of card stock to create a cloud bank. I sponged on Charcoal across the top.Next, I punched a 1 1/2" circle in card stock and sponged in Nude and Sun Flower to create the sun. I used the torn piece of card stock and continued to sponge in the cloud bank around and above the sun. I added in Cote d' Azure sky in spots.
The snowman is a MS punch. I covered it, and the ground with micro-fine glitter. The fence and ground were a bit short, so I drew it in!
