For today's MMSC35, http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/, I chose to do a digital image from McMahon Five Designs http://www.mcmahonfivedesign.com/. Sue McMahon has a wonderful online store you should visit. I paper pieced the snowman, hat, scarf, and dress. Watercolored the rest and added stickes and liquid applique.
I think a few people are going to get a laugh from this one. My sister gave me a Janome Sew-Mini for
Christmas. I set it up last night and about 10:30 decided to stitch my first card. CROOKED. I need more practice before I do that so I just used faux stitching. UGh! The other one will be Pam124 because she has been waiting to see my first stitched card. I'm sure I'll hear from my friend on this one.
Take a visit to Priscillastyles blogspot. There are wonderful sketches each week and good prizes and awards to be won.

Sewing or no sewing, this card is super cute! I love the colors and the fun fibers are really pretty. And as Priscilla said, once you get past the idea of sewing on paper instead of fabric, it's so much fun! Don't give up, it'll get easier. Michelle

Benzi-I would say that this looks like real stitching to me...I would have been fooled!!! Aaah the faux stitching controversy has been started here...LOL You and Pam are keeping me in stitches....oooo that is bad isn't it!!! LOL Hey, it's early here in GA what can I say...not enough coffee yet...my tank is only 1/2 full!!!
Your paper piece image is sensational. Your color blue is so pretty and the snowflake embellies are just so sweet. Thanks so much for giving the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge a whirl!!! I will be back next week to check on the next installment of stitching saga!!! LOL Wishing you a Very Happy Creative New Year!
