Today we are off to Dodge City in hopes that Miss Kittie finds a man. Well I'm a sucker for a happy ending. So I have slipped the new sheriff a C note. He corralled Miss Kittie and Matt Dillon and pronounced them man and wife. Finally! I just couldn't stand to see another man get to Miss Kittie. You see, she has been after Matt for soooo long. So I just had to help her get him. Plus I knew the new Sheriff...... For the whole teapot story go here ........details on my card, here.....
After their brief wedding, they walked off into the sunset happily ever after......had to walk as Miss Kittie's behind has gotten too big over the years for the saddle! hehe Plus the horse is old.
I used Mo's Digi couple with just a little tweaking. I gave the old man some spurs and a cowboy hat. The old lady some fish net stockings. That thing in her ear ain't no hearing aid either, it's a big silver pearl ear ring. (thanks Peggy-Sue!) Colored with copics, versa marked and clear ep. Sponged the sunset around.
The New Sheriff I drew. Colored with copics, versa marked and clear ep. Cut out and popped up. He's standing there because he wanted to make sure the marriage was off to a good start!
Well, I'm off to the saloon now that the happy couple has taken off to who knows where. .....TFL :0)

Oh, Carthy this is wonderful! I knew Miss Kitty and Matt couldn't really still look that young, even though on TV they haven't changed a bit in 40 years (my DH was watching it on TV this afternoon!). Love Mo's images and your "tweaking the image" is perfect. See, you could design your own stamps! Terrific card today!

I dunno...Bertie is laughing her arse off, Miss Kitt's booty got too big for a horse. And Matt Dillon, look at his, uh...'arse'. It is a-saggin' so badly! Lol! (True Buttnik comment, eh?)
Cathy, your card just rocks! I always love the wonderful color you give to images to bring them to life! (I put this image in my shopping basket last night!) Your art is incredible- spurs! What can you not draw? I love your Sheriff too, with his sporty chaps and bolo. Yee-haw! Another sheer delight Sput! Some may say remember the Alamo, but I say- GO DIGITAL, will ya!

LOL! Leave it to you to hoodwink the cowboy to marry off Miss Kitty. And your sherrif is downright handsome. You know...not only could you design stamps but you could write and illustrate your own comics! I am serious! High point of my day...seeing what you come up with! TFS your talent with us. :-)

This is wonderful - you did a fantastic job on this! I love how you thought about the fact that they would be much older now! Matt is finally too old to chase the bad guys so Miss Kitty has a chance of keeping him close to home. Hey, my Mom got married last year at 73 and she is having a wonderful time acting just like she is 17!
Super job!
